Student Talking Points
This
conference is to let your parents know how you are progressing toward meeting
all of the requirements for graduation.
I would
like to start out our conference by reviewing my current schedule and grades.
Here is a copy of my grades.
All
students need 22.5 credits to graduate. So far, I have ___________credits.
And I
have met these requirements: (see credit check sheet, four year planning
documents, and transcript).
My most
recent WASL scores are:
Writing: _____
Math: _____
Science: _____
I need a
level 3 or 4 to meet standard.
My High
School and Beyond Plan was written so that I can be sure to take courses needed
to help me meet my goals. (see High School and Beyond
Plan for students in class or 2009, 2008, and 2007).
My
attendance so far this year is: (Fill in how you are doing, from great to I’d
better get to school more often!. A copy of your
attendance can be reviewed here).
(If you have a Student Learning
Plan, your teacher will help you talk about it now. These plans are for
students that did not meet standard on one or more sections of their most recent WASL.)
All
students are now required to complete a Senior Culminating Project. I have
completed the following portions: (see check list for the appropriate grade
level or ask your teacher what is required for grades 9 and 10.)
Additional information is
available if you would like to discuss PSAT, SAT, or ACT, or Federal Student
Aid.
If you
would like to talk to another one of my teachers, here is a copy of their email
addresses. They can be reached by phone at 452. 7602.
